A New Hub for Case Management at the Occupational Therapy Show 2026

The Occupational Therapy Show 2026 will introduce an exciting new collaboration with the Case Management Society UK (CMSUK), bringing delegates a dynamic and engaging CMSUK Feature Zone. Designed to showcase the vital role of case management within interdisciplinary rehabilitation, this dedicated space will offer insight, connection, and inspiration for occupational therapists at every stage of their careers.

The CMSUK Feature Zone is a welcoming environment, inviting visitors to step in, start conversations, and deepen their understanding of how collaborative practice between case managers, occupational therapists, and wider rehabilitation professionals leads to improved outcomes for individuals with complex needs.

Who Are CMSUK?

The Case Management Society UK (CMSUK) is a not‑for‑profit organisation and registered charity dedicated to advancing excellence in case management. Established in 2001 and granted charitable status in 2006, it plays a key role in supporting professional development and promoting high standards of care.

CMSUK brings together a diverse community of professionals from health, rehabilitation, and case management settings, including NHS Trusts and major trauma services. Through this network, the organisation encourages shared learning, collaboration, and the exchange of best practice within the UK and the wider global case management community.

Through educational events, webinars, podcasts, and its annual conference, CMSUK provides valuable opportunities for learning, networking, and professional growth. Its membership offers access to specialist resources, industry insights, and a supportive professional network.

The CMSUK Feature Zone is more than just a place to visit; it is a platform to strengthen understanding, collaboration, and professional identity across disciplines.

It invites occupational therapists to deepen their understanding of case management, ask questions, and explore how the role supports better outcomes for people with complex needs. This also shows how occupational therapy skills align with the values, competencies, and holistic approach central to effective case management.

The zone will:

  • Showcase interdisciplinary rehabilitation in action, demonstrating how collaborative working enhances quality of care.

  • Strengthen awareness of the case manager role among thousands of occupational therapists.

  • Support CMSUK’s continued growth, expanding its membership and professional influence.

  • Create a visible, engaging, and distinctive presence on the exhibition floor, encouraging meaningful interaction.

A Vision for the Future

CMSUK is dedicated to highlighting the role of case management within interdisciplinary rehabilitation, strengthening awareness, understanding, and professional connection across the sector. Through shared learning, open dialogue, and collaboration, the organisation highlights the contribution of case management to coordinated, high‑quality care.

This work is underpinned by CMSUK’s commitment to research that informs and advances case management practice.

Together, this focus on research, professional development, and knowledge sharing supports forward‑thinking, evidence‑informed practice across the sector. By engaging with occupational therapists and wider rehabilitation professionals, CMSUK supports workforce development and encourages collaborative working, and contributes to the continued raising of standards of care across the UK.

Whether you are an experienced occupational therapist, newly qualified, or exploring new opportunities, the CMSUK Feature Zone at the Occupational Therapy Show 2026 will offer a welcoming space to learn, connect, and ask questions.
