Theraposture to showcase why its extensive Rotoflex range is first choice for healthcare professionals at OT Show
Theraposture will be demonstrating why its Rotoflex rotational bed and Paediatric cot ranges are the widest available at the Occupational Therapy Show (stand D56, NEC, 23-24 November).
Since 1981, Theraposture has been the trusted supplier for many Therapists, Charities and private customers seeking a quality power-adjustable bed, chair or cot. As a caring family-run business Theraposture supplies products that deliver greater independence for disabled users through assured comfort, safety and homely aesthetics. Theraposture provide the widest choice of tailor-made solutions so that an infinite variety of needs can be met for users of all shapes, weights and sizes. This product flexibility is a major benefit to OTs which is supported by an equally adaptable and professional approach to working with OT’s. The experienced and accredited team of nationwide Trusted Assessors work closely with OTs to ensure positive outcomes are achieved for all through assessment-based equipment provision and 14-day suitability guarantees.
At the OT Show Theraposture will be available to explain why and how its extensive product range remains first choice for many OTs and their clients. Focusing on its proven turning bed portfolio, the Trusted Assessors will be demonstrating a LOW access Rotoflex 175 (175Kg SWL) and a Bariatric Rotoflex 300 (300kg SWL)
The LOW access Rotoflex 175 bed provides the ultimate assistive solution for smaller clients so they can move from a recumbent to a seated position independently. At its lowest position, this Rotoflex provides a distance of only 43.5cm between the floor and mattress surface, which combined with an ergonomic seat depth, this allows users with shorter legs to sit more comfortably by getting their bottom to the back of the seat.
Ideal for users weighing up to 39 stone, the Bariatric Rotoflex 300 is the most capable turning bed system available today. It is a specifically designed heavy duty Rotoflex with a mattress that is 4cm thicker than the standard Rotoflex 200 product. The seat depth is also deeper and there is an extra motor in the foot section to support heavy legs so adjustability remains stable and safe.
These two examples are only part of the Theraposture Rotoflex range the widest choice of rotational beds on the market. This proven powered bed allows users to safely get in and out of bed on their own terms without the cost of carers. Where two carers are replaced, the bed could potentially pay for itself typically in just 14 weeks.
For Paediatric OTs, Theraposture will also be showcasing its highly popular Mascot Mk2 care cot at the OT Show. The door height options are 60, 80, 90, 98 and now a new 120cm. This fully modular cot system can be adapted as needs change hence provides a 'future proof’ solution for the long term. Without the need to purchase a new cot as a child grows or if their needs change, the Mascot offers a highly cost effective solution which is enhanced by surprisingly affordable prices.
