Independent Living reviews Occupational Therapy Show

It is unique in my experience to have universal positive feedback from a trade show, but this is what I am hearing from mobility suppliers who attended the Occupational Therapy Show at the end of November. For those OTs who were not able to get to the NEC – and indeed, anyone else with an interest in new developments in mobility and daily living aids – I have been selecting some interesting snippets.

The Ramp People found particular interest in their modular wheelchair ramps – sturdy and quick to install access, both temporary and permanent. Drive Medical found their patient transfer and toileting solutions in demand: you can see their Ambiturn here. Theraposture's original patented Rotoflex bed and modular Mascot Mark 2 cot, which accommodates the growing child both turned heads; more here. NRS Healthcare launched a new mobile app, amongst other things.

There will be more feedback from the show next time!
