Taher Dhuliawala
Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist,
NeuroAbility Limited
Taher Dhuliawala is a Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist with over 16 years of experience supporting people with complex neurological conditions. After completing his Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy, he earned his Master’s in Neurological Physiotherapy from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK.
Taher began his career within the NHS, working across several trusts before joining Leicester General Hospital’s Neurological Outpatient Service and later the Community Neurological Team for Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. His NHS experience gave him valuable insight into both clinic-based and community rehabilitation.
Driven by a passion for innovation in rehab, Taher moved to the private sector where he advanced his expertise in technology-assisted therapy — including Functional Electrical Stimulation, Exoskeletons, Virtual Reality etc. He also specialises in aquatic physiotherapy and developed TeleRehab services during the pandemic.
Taher previously served as Clinical Services Manager at the Muscular Dystrophy Support Centre and now focuses his time at NeuroAbility, supporting people with neurological conditions across Leicester and the Midlands. He is HCPC-registered, a member of the CSP, and Co-Treasurer of Midlands ACPIN.
Outside work, Taher is an enthusiastic gardener, gym-goer, and baker — always moving, learning, and creating.
