Sue is course lead for the pre-registration MSc in occupational therapy. Having worked in higher education for over 20 years she has extensive knowledge and experience of curriculum design. She led the development of the first MSc apprenticeship in occupational therapy in England, gaining approval to run this course from January 2022. Sue’s clinical background is in the field of community mental health. She is continuing to work on issues around the development of pre-registration occupational therapy education and has recently published on the importance of leadership, mentoring and coaching skills in the education of occupational therapists.
