Stephen Fielding is Managing Director of Dignity Access Limited, which designs and makes WashPod®, the modular accessible bathroom that helps people live safely and independently at home. After more than 20 years in commercial leadership, Stephen spent eight years in senior roles at UK home care and live-in care companies across London and the South East. He has worked closely with NHS Trusts, GPs and Local Authorities on one shared challenge: getting people home from hospital quickly, safely and with dignity. He saw first-hand how often an unsuitable bathroom was the one thing that kept someone in a hospital bed or stopped them from returning home. Stephen also founded Caresque, a health and social care consultancy, and holds a law degree. At Dignity Access he brings together care, housing and practical design to give OTs faster, simpler ways to make homes work for the people who live in them.
