Sarah Meharg is a neurodivergent occupational therapist with 25 years’ experience across the NHS, higher education and independent practice. She has worked across a range of services and roles, including mental health services, learning disability services, student support services and inpatient medical wards.
Sarah now works independently through her occupational therapy practice, Moodlifter, working one to one with neurodivergent adults, was a train the trainer on the National Autism Programme and is a Director of Neuroflect CIC, a neurodivergent-led not-for-profit organisation focused on improving outcomes for neurodivergent people through training, clinical supervision, resources, consultation and co-production.
Her work focuses on neuroaffirmative and evidence-based occupational therapy, accessibility, reasonable adjustments and translating theory into practical change.
