Samantha Shann

World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT)
Samantha is President of the World Federation of Occupational Therapists and has worked for 30 years in low, middle and high-resourced settings to effect change at government, institutional and service levels.
She is a Director of The OT Service, a UK independent occupational therapy company, as well as a Founding Board Member for the International Society of Wheelchair Professionals and a steering committee member for the World Health Organization's World Rehabilitation Alliance. She is a regular guest lecturer at various national and international universities with a particular interest in supporting students and graduates in developing new services.
Samantha is passionate about occupational therapy and is committed to promoting and advocating for the profession highlighting its unique contribution to how people and communities live their lives.
