As of 2025, Norma serves as Head of Clinical Operations at Tierco Healthcare Division, which includes A1 Risk Solutions. She brings a wealth of expertise to this leadership role, built on many years of experience as a Specialist Occupational Therapist, Manual Handling Consultant, Risk Assessor, and Expert Witness. Norma has worked extensively across the lifespan—from infants and children to adults and older people—supporting individuals with complex care needs. Her clinical expertise spans acquired brain injuries, spinal injuries, complex orthopaedic trauma, and a wide range of neurological conditions including Functional Neurological Disorders. With a strong background in case management, Norma has coordinated complex care packages, collaborated with multidisciplinary care teams, and delivered innovative solutions to complex moving and handling challenges. She has a specialist interest in postural care and proportionate handling, always striving to promote safe, person-centred practice. In her role at Tierco, Norma continues to drive clinical excellence, lead on operational improvements, and influence best practices across the healthcare division.
