Mike Cowan-Jones is an experienced Occupational Therapist with more than 30 years across neurology, brain injury, orthopaedics, paediatrics and social care. As Director of ARMS Rehab, he specialises in complex moving and handling, equipment prescription, and practical risk management, delivering training and consultancy to health, social care and education services. He is also co-host of the Positive Talks OT podcast, promoting professional development and modern OT practice. Mike is widely recognised for his ability to clinically and financially justify assistive equipment, combining strong therapeutic reasoning with clear, outcome-focused decision making. His work consistently supports safer practice, improved independence and cost-effective solutions for complex client needs.
