Before joining Designability as Clinical Lead, Liesl worked within a Wheelchair Services as Lead Clinician within the Bespoke Moulded Seating Team. Liesl studied Psychology before moving over to Occupational Therapy and graduated in South Africa where she started her OT career in the fields of paediatric burns and plastics, and upper limb rehabilitation. Liesl moved to the UK in 2000 and worked in acute and neurological rehabilitation before settling in The Southwest where she worked across a range of disciplines including mental health, palliative care, community neurological rehabilitation and prosthetics.
