Specialist Occupational Therapist, NHS Lothian
Kathrin graduated from York St John's in 2003. She initially worked in High Secure and Forensic Community Mental Health as well as Community Mental Health Teams in Scotland. Following this she left mental health to work in a Rapid Assessment A&E service at St. Johns Hospital in Livingston. This role shaped her interest and passion for using Occupational Therapy in Primary Care as an opportunity to improve the patient journey by preventative early intervention and lifestyle modifications, leading to a return to mental health in 2019. When not at work she enjoys the outdoors with her family and Golden Retriever, Astrid.
