Karen graduated from Queen Margaret University Edinburgh in 2009 and then started her career in Birmingham, West Midlands before moving to Worcestershire and then back to Birmingham. Karen has over 16 years experience within Occupational Therapy, working across multiple specialities such as Trauma and Orthopaedics, Specialist Medicine, Respiratory, Palliative Care and Vascular Surgery. Currently she is a Specialist Occupational Therapist for Access to Communication and Technology, a specialist service supporting people across the West Midlands with complex disabilities to develop ways to enable them to communicate and interact with their environment, assisted by the use of electronic equipment.
