A Senior Associate Occupational Therapist with a specialist interest in neurological practice and community-based rehabilitation. She has extensive experience supporting people living with a range of neurological conditions, helping them maximise independence, participation, and quality of life through person-centred, evidence-based interventions. Julie is passionate about developing innovative approaches that connect people beyond traditional healthcare settings. She has been actively involved in the development and delivery of Neuro Connect Cafés, creating welcoming community spaces where individuals with neurological conditions, their families, and carers can access support, share experiences, reduce social isolation, and build meaningful connections. Through her work, Julie champions collaborative practice, the value of peer support, and the importance of addressing the social, emotional, and occupational impact of neurological conditions. As a presenter, she enjoys sharing practical insights and learning from others to improve outcomes for people navigating life with neurological challenges
