John qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2001, and has spent his career amassing a wealth of experience with regards Moving and handling risk assessment, handling plans and training. John has spent his over twenty years honing his skills in the public sector social care, NHS and in the private sector as a freelance Moving and handling advisor and trainer. John now runs his own moving and handling training and advisory service in the North East of England, running training courses for care providers and heath professionals, as well as supporting local authorities with complex risk assessments and support with Single Handed Care.
