Assistant Professor in Occupational Therapy, Coventry University
Jo Porter has worked in the field of children and young people's occupational therapy for over 20 years with a special interest in those with complex physical disability. Her career in the NHS included roles in leadership and management of AHP services. She now lectures at Coventry University across both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Special interests include exploring the opportunity for the profession to contribute to global sustainability and climate change. This emanates from a personal commitment to the idea of living as a 'global citizen' and responding to the challenges of occupational justice.
