Helen Lindner

Chief Executive, MACA
Helen Lindner is the founder and Chief Executive of Mobility and Accessibility for Children and Adults Ltd (MACA), the Australian not-for-profit organisation at the forefront of transforming safe and equitable motor vehicle transport for people with disability and medical conditions. Recognised as a leading expert in vehicle restraint and transport safety for people with disability, Helen has spent more than two decades turning evidence, policy and frontline experience into practical change. Helen works across government, research, industry and clinical practice and presents nationally and internationally on the complex transport challenges faced by people with disability. Her work gives occupational therapists access to new evidence, practical frameworks and safety knowledge to inform clinical decision-making. Her contribution has been recognised internationally, including through a Prince Michael International Road Safety Award in 2024.
