New Neighbourhood Mental Health Provision
Hannah Darton is a qualified occupational therapist, researcher, and charity sector leader with a strong interest in equity, inclusion, and mental health. She is about to start a new role as Team Leader in a neighbourhood mental health service, supporting personalised, community-based care. Her research focuses on ableism in occupational therapy education, drawing from critical disability studies and her own lived experience. Alongside this, she has contributed to OT teaching as a problem-based learning tutor. Hannah is a trustee of both the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust and Healthwatch North Yorkshire and is committed to challenging injustice within and beyond the profession.
