Rachel Russell

As a practitioner, Rachel has had a number of roles in adult social care including Principal Occupational Therapist. As an academic, she researched the home adaptations process and was part of the team involved in the UK government-commissioned review of the Disabled Facilities Grant and was one of the lead authors of the RCOT 2019 publication Adaptations without delay. Rachel is now the Senior Regional Advisor at Foundations – the National Body for Home Improvement Agencies, where she is part of the team leading and inspiring positive change in the delivery of home adaptations and improvements.
