Clare is a leading specialist Occupational Therapist within the field of eating disorders, as well as a Systemic Psychotherapy Practitioner, EMDR Therapist and the Co-Founder of TEDS. She is also the Co-Lead of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Interest Group in Eating Disorders and has a passion in supporting individuals to heal from trauma. Clare has extensive experience of working alongside adults with eating disorders & trauma, including within in-patient, day patient and community contexts. Alongside a colleague, Clare also developed and launched a unique, private therapy service, TEDS, in 2021 which has and continues to, effectively support individuals move to authentic healing and recovery. In addition, Clare has conducted various eating disorder training seminars throughout her career, remains actively involved in research within the field, and has been featured in many podcasts, dispelling myths and increasing awareness about eating disorders and trauma. She was also a co-author in the compelling book “Eating Disorders Don’t Discriminate”, which was published in 2024.
