Senior Occupational Therapist, Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust
Charlotte has spent the past five years working in the prison establishments, introducing and developing the role of occupational therapy within prison mental health services. Main areas of interest include the use of Sensory Integration, Compassionate Focused Therapy and Recovery through Activity to support the individuals develop a positive routine, engage in more meaningful activity and whilst supporting them with emotional regulation skills. Xenia will also be presenting with Charlotte. Xenia introduced Charlotte to the Recovery through Activity model when she was a student. Xenia is now a qualified OT working in a prison setting.
