Birgit Forstmaier‑James is a paediatric Occupational Therapist with over 20 years’ experience across NHS, local authority and community services. She specialises in neurodivergence, sensory processing, neurological conditions and developmental trauma, drawing on extensive training including Bobath, TEACCH, autism assessment tools and postgraduate sensory programmes. Birgit has held clinical leadership roles and is highly experienced in supporting families, schools and children’s homes with clear, practical, trauma‑informed and neuro‑affirming guidance.
