Beth Morris is an artist and experienced art tutor who runs Beth Morris Workshops in Cardiff. She co-founded the Sketcher Project with her cousin, occupational therapist Rhiannon Stokes, and has spent the past 8 years creating and delivering accessible art opportunities for adults living with acquired brain injury. Beth brings the perspective of an artist and educator rather than a clinician. Her approach focuses on seeing the individual as an artist in their own right, identifying creative potential and finding ways around the cognitive, physical or practical barriers that might otherwise prevent someone from participating. Through art and stitch, Beth encourages experimentation, achievement, self-expression and the development of genuine artistic skills, while helping to create the welcoming and supportive community that has become central to the Sketcher Project.
