Head of Division of Health and Rehabilitation, University of Huddersfield
Benita is an occupational therapist, qualifying in 1995 from the University of Queensland, Australia. She currently works at the University of Huddersfield where she is Head of the Division of Health and Rehabilitation. Benita has experience of working in children's health services in Australia, Romania, England and Scotland. She completed her PhD in 2019 while working as head of service for children with additional needs. She remains passionate about finding effective ways to support children and young people with disabilities to participate fully in all of their daily occupations, especially leisure.
