Alicia Ridout

Alicia Ridout is an occupational therapist who works across the UK, supporting digital safety, innovation and research projects. She is a Fellow of the British Computer Society and a doctoral student at York St John University, exploring safe use of Artificial Intelligence to support digitally active older peoples’ independence at home, as they approach referral to Adult Social Care services.
Alicia has been working with IMPACT for almost 2 years, leading a Demonstrator in Leeds, a Tech Network and now the OT Demonstrator. Funded by RCOT Innovation Seed fund, she completed a project to better understand delegated healthcare activities to support occupational therapy practice development in adult social care.
