Alex was awarded the 1st Clinical Excellence Award by the Huntington’s Disease (HD) Association in 2022 which she describes as “an honour beyond words”. She is a jobbing OT in the West Midlands Neuropsychiatry Service as well as a Clinical Lecturer & HD Module Lead on the UOB MSc Neuropsychiatry. As a PhD candidate at the UOB, she is passionate about all things ethnography and is using this method to include the ‘voices’ of people with HD in research.
