Discover the future of case management at the Occupational Therapy Show 2026

Discover the future of case management at the Occupational Therapy Show 2026

As case management continues to play an increasingly important role in delivering coordinated, person-centred rehabilitation, opportunities to learn, collaborate and connect with fellow professionals have never been more valuable. Returning to the NEC Birmingham on 25–26 November 2026, the Occupational Therapy Show offers case managers two days of professional development, networking and inspiration.

Recognised as a leading event for occupational therapists, the show has evolved into a multidisciplinary meeting place for professionals across rehabilitation, health, social care, education and independent practice. For case managers, it provides an opportunity to strengthen relationships with occupational therapists and other rehabilitation specialists, explore innovative products and services, and discover new approaches to supporting people with complex needs.

A major highlight for 2026 is the launch of a dedicated Case Management Society UK (CMSUK) Feature Zone, celebrating the Society’s 25th anniversary and exploring the past, present and future of case management.

Designed as an interactive and welcoming space, the Feature Zone will bring visitors together to meet experienced professionals, exchange ideas and discover the diverse career pathways into case management. The Coffee & Curiosity Corner will provide an informal setting for open conversations, peer networking and discussions about the opportunities and challenges shaping the profession. Visitors can also explore the history of case management, professional standards and the Society’s vision for the future.

Education will be central to the experience, with CMSUK contributing four sessions to the dedicated case management conference stream. Topics include professional development, the respective roles of occupational therapists and case managers, coordinating education, health and social care for children and families, and creating homes that enable participation following catastrophic injury.

Delivered by experienced professionals, including CMSUK Trustees who began their careers as occupational therapists before moving into case management, the sessions will offer practical insights into multidisciplinary working, professional boundaries and supporting people following complex or life-changing injuries. Visitors will also have the opportunity to continue conversations with the speakers in the Feature Zone.

Beyond the dedicated programme, the show’s four CPD-accredited theatres and two exhibitor-led theatres will offer further opportunities to explore rehabilitation, clinical practice, innovation and leadership. More than 200 exhibitors will showcase products, services and technologies spanning rehabilitation and independent living, giving delegates the chance to discover practical solutions, from assistive technology to specialist rehabilitation services.

Ultimately, the Occupational Therapy Show is about more than education. It brings together professionals whose complementary expertise can help improve outcomes for people with complex needs. By raising awareness of case management across the wider rehabilitation community, the CMSUK partnership will encourage stronger interdisciplinary relationships and greater understanding of the profession’s contribution.

Whether you are an established case manager, a CMSUK member, an occupational therapist considering a career in case management or simply looking to build new professional connections, the Occupational Therapy Show 2026 offers a valuable opportunity to learn, share experiences and help shape the future of the profession.
