The future's not white - Decolonising occupational therapy

Inclusivity
Occupational therapy was formed by people racialised as white for people racialised as white. It’s leaders and eminent authors are dominated by those from the Global North who are racialised as white. This leads to the profession recycling institutional racism and delivering ethnic neutral services. This keynote is a critical think piece calling on all occupational therapists to urgently start decolonising the profession, from its professional bodies, education curricula, research to services and more.
