All for one and one for all
25 Nov 2021
This interactive presentation is delivered by Sheffield Hallam University (Beth Sidaway), University of Derby (Louise Couchman and Terry Brown) and University of Lincoln (Rachel Cresswell and Julie Walters). We have joined forces to deliver excellent practice placement training and support. The session will include some activities to help you think about the qualities and attributes of a good occupational therapy practice educator. There will be an opportunity to hear about the development of our joint practice educator course, in which for the latest iteration, we have carefully listened to Occupational Therapists. This consultation process informed the streamlining of our training and practice educator approval offer so it is fit for the 21st century. Join us to hear how becoming an approved practice educator with our new L’APPLE scheme, dovetails with the support provided for the practice placement as a whole and contributes to your continuing professional development.
