The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a listening programme designed to interact with the polyvagal system to promote a sense of safety and connection with others. We will describe how SSP works and how we have used SSP to contribute to positive outcomes with children and young people in Witherslack Group who have experienced trauma.
