The role of the case manager when working with a client who has experienced a traumatic brain injury
This session will examine the role a case manager plays in supporting a client who has experienced a traumatic brain injury. This session will discuss a real-life case study; from the client’s hospital admission to rehabilitation journey. We will explore all of the professionals involved in supporting the client and how statutory and private provision work side by side. You will gain an insight how a case manager can assist NHS colleagues with discharge planning, and work collaboratively to ensure the best outcome. It will also explore the role the case manager plays in creating bespoke rehab programmes and creating a support team to encourage maximum independence and function for the client.
