Theatre 3
Bringing the Magic Circle’s first member with hemiplegia, an occupational therapist and an award-winning social enterprise to the Occupational Therapy Show stage!
Discover how Breathe Arts Health Research’s programmes combine therapy and the arts to help participants grow in confidence, discover new ways to use their strengths and skills, and show greater engagement in activities in daily life. Learn about how we support young people with congenital or acquired hemiplegia through the Breathe Magic Intensive Therapy Programme. This unique model combines bimanual intensive therapy, goal-oriented interventions, and learning close-up magic in a group setting to promote participation in activities requiring bimanual skills. Learn how this approach has been adapted with the Anna Freud Centre to enhance communication and mental health in Pupil Referral Units.
  • Gain an understanding of how creative approaches can benefit Occupational Therapy
  • Feel excited and motivated by Breathe’s unique programmes
