The Society of Occupational Medicine (SOM) is the UK organisation for healthcare professionals working in or with an interest in occupational health (OH). SOM is concerned with the protection of the health of people in the workplace, the prevention of occupational injuries and disease and related environmental issues. Any health professional who has an interest in or works or teaches in occupational health and medicine is welcome to become a member. SOM welcomes Occupational Therapists and those who have enrolled, or are intending to enrol, in a course in occupational health and medicine.
