Reach provides home-based assessments and rehabilitation programmes for mild through to severe brain injury patients. These assessments comprise of neuro Occupational Therapy, neuropsychology and also Post concussive syndrome assessments. We have now added an assessment triage for mild Head Trauma. The aim is to identify ongoing cognitive, emotional, executive, behavioural and functional problems following head and brain trauma and provide a targeted, outcome focussed rehabilitation programme to address ongoing deficits.
Reach’s story is one of teaching patients how to manage their own recovery. How to push themselves to achieve as much pre-injury function as possible. How to regain their own independence - and retain it.
