Our clinicians are a crucial part of the most joined-up model in SEND and we are excited to have one of our team speak at this year’s Occupational Therapy Show. Senior Occupational Therapist, Lisa Taylor will be providing a session on using a multi-tiered trauma-informed approach to increase occupational participation for the children and young people who live and learn with us. By the end of this session you will:

• Have an understanding of Adverse Childhood Experiences and trauma in contemporary practice
• Understand the potential occupation impact of trauma
• Have an understanding of how trauma-informed occupational interventions can be organised using a multi-tiered model in school settings.
• Understand the impact of working with children and young people with trauma

Not only do we have our guest speaker attending, we also have a number of our clinical team who are excited to meet those interested in working with children and young people with special educational needs. We have a number of opportunities available to join our teams as well as apprenticeships for those who are just at the start of their career path or wanting to learn something new.
