Oysta promotes independence further by launching its new wearable device
Oysta's brand-new wearable telecare Oysta Watch.
Technology enabled care is a great way to promote independence.
Wearable devices offer a great telecare solution that can be discreet for individuals who want to remain independent but know they have a safety net of support if they need it. The Occupational Therapy Show is an event in the healthcare industry providing a platform to discuss, share, and discover the latest innovations that can improve quality of life. This is why we are thrilled to announce our brand-new wearable telecare Oysta Watch. In our demonstration we will show attendees all the additional features we have added including: • Offering reminder messages to help make sure individuals attend their appointments or even consume more water • Offer location updates to see where an individual is so if they need help you can direct them • Create safe zones to identify where individuals would typically go and travel to so that if they travel outside of those safe zones day or night care alerts can be triggered • Offer a Weatherwatch feature that can notify the care circle if individuals are outside after dark or in extreme weather conditions to initiate a welfare check • Offer a whitelist of contacts to allow specific people to contact the individual directly through the watch • Provide status alerts so care circles can be notified when the watch is turned off, low on charge, or not in use Our new Oysta watch is discreet and works like any other regular watch whilst providing extra features to deliver more preventative, participatory and proactive care to allow individuals to remain living independently and confidently. Our new discreet device can also record vital signs as well as allow individuals to make calls to any Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) through our touch SOS button when they need to. We look forward to seeing you, answering your questions, and most importantly demonstrating our Oysta solutions to show the benefits they have on individuals and social care professionals alike, including occupational therapists. https://www.oysta-technology.com/
