H&M Bathlifts is proud to have won the Innovation in Sustainability Award at the British Healthcare Trades Industry Awards 2025.

Presented by the British Healthcare Trades Association, the award recognises organisations making a meaningful contribution to sustainability across the healthcare and assistive technology industry.

H&M Bathlifts received the award for the sustainability focused design and provision of the Kanjo Bathlift. The product has been developed to provide a reliable bathing solution without compromising environmental responsibility, quality or user safety.

Its durable design allows the Kanjo Bathlift to be cleaned and reused through council community equipment services, helping to reduce unnecessary replacements and keep equipment in service for longer. At the end of its usable life, the product can also be recycled.

The Kanjo is supported by H&M Bathlifts market leading 4 year warranty. This extended warranty model provides long term reassurance while helping to reduce avoidable call outs, product replacements and associated waste.

The judges also recognised the company’s use of recyclable packaging and its work to reduce emissions through its logistics arrangements.

For occupational therapists and community equipment providers, this approach supports both environmental and operational objectives. It can help services control whole life costs, improve equipment availability and provide dependable bathing support to people who need it.

Winning the BHTA Innovation in Sustainability Award follows H&M Bathlifts earlier Green Apple Gold Award and provides further recognition of the company’s commitment to responsible and sustainable bathlift provision.
