Enabling Spaces CIC - Hoarding Therapy Specialists  Stand: L43
Enabling Spaces CIC to Exhibit at the Occupational Therapy Show 2026
Enabling Spaces CIC will be exhibiting at the Occupational Therapy Show 2026, Stand L43, showcasing specialist occupational therapy practice for hoarding, self-neglect and complex home environments, alongside the independently developed Tree of Transformation® and TOT-C® frameworks.
Enabling Spaces CIC is delighted to be exhibiting at the Occupational Therapy Show 2026 at the NEC Birmingham on 25–26 November. Visitors to Stand L43 will be invited to explore specialist occupational therapy approaches to hoarding, self-neglect and complex home environments, while also discovering the independently developed Tree of Transformation® and TOT-C® frameworks. The stand will bring together clinical practice, therapeutic reasoning, tactile resources and emerging children’s materials designed to encourage professionals to look beyond visible clutter and understand the person, their occupations and the wider environment.
Enabling Spaces CIC is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting at the Occupational Therapy Show 2026 at Stand L43.

Enabling Spaces CIC is a specialist occupational therapy service supporting people affected by hoarding, self-neglect and complex home environments.

Its work is trauma-aware, occupation-focused and person-centred, with an emphasis on understanding the meaning behind behaviour, routines, possessions and the home environment rather than focusing solely on visible clutter.

At this year’s show, Enabling Spaces CIC will also be showcasing, under licence, the independently developed Tree of Transformation® and TOT-C® frameworks.

The Tree of Transformation® was developed by Yvonne Singleton as a therapeutic framework for understanding hoarding beyond what can immediately be seen.

Using the metaphor of a tree, the framework encourages practitioners to explore the interconnected influences that may shape a person’s relationship with their home and possessions, including life experiences, identity, coping, routines, emotions, environment, occupational participation and readiness for change.

Rather than treating clutter as the whole problem, the framework supports deeper clinical reasoning and encourages practitioners to consider the whole person and the wider context in which change is being attempted.

TOT-C® extends this thinking into work with children and young people through story, metaphor, play and therapeutic resources.

A developing collection of children’s materials will be previewed at the show, offering visitors an early opportunity to see how the principles of the Tree of Transformation® can be translated into gentle, developmentally appropriate ways of exploring feelings, memories, overwhelm, decision-making, routines and change.

Visitors to Stand L43 will be able to:

• Explore specialist occupational therapy approaches to hoarding and self-neglect
• Discover the Tree of Transformation® framework
• Learn more about TOT-C® and its developing children’s resources
• View tactile and wooden therapeutic-resource prototypes
• Explore approaches to clinical reasoning, occupation and the home environment
• Discuss training, consultancy, licensing and collaboration opportunities
• Meet Yvonne and Jo and discuss complex practice in the home

The central message of the stand is:

Understanding. Supporting. Transforming.

Enabling Spaces CIC looks forward to welcoming occupational therapists, students, educators, commissioners, housing professionals and colleagues from health, social care and related services to Stand L43.

Important distinction

Tree of Transformation® and TOT-C® are independent intellectual property frameworks and are separate from Enabling Spaces CIC. They are owned and developed through Tree of Transformation Ltd and are showcased and used by Enabling Spaces CIC under licence.
