ASI Wise & Sensory Project: Commitment to Quality, Collaboration, and Continuous Improvement
Back in 2021, our tutor groups welcomed around 260 attendees. By 2025, that number had expanded to more than 1,500. Behind those numbers are hundreds of conversations, light-bulb moments, shared reflections and honest questions. They show us that practitioners want more than content—they want connection, reassurance, community and the chance to learn alongside others who "get it.”
What makes us proud isn't the growth itself, but what it represents: a community that values continuous learning, critical reflection and the co-production of safe, confident sensory-integration practice. And yet, like all communities, we know we can only evolve if we continue to listen.
While the majority of learners describe their experience as "excellent,” praising the content, interactivity, and support, there are always voices that need something different or more. These voices matter deeply. They help us identify where our explanations could be more precise, where our systems could be more streamlined, and where our learners may require a different kind of support or pacing. Feedback doesn't threaten quality; it strengthens it. It keeps us honest. It keeps us growing.
Collaboration sits at the centre of everything we do. Our workshops, tutor groups, webinars and resources are shaped not only by our tutors and advisors, but also by practitioners in the field, lived-experience contributors, service leads and global partners. The conversations we have—across emails, forums, mentoring spaces and live groups—actively influence the adjustments and updates we make. When someone takes the time to tell us what worked or what didn't quite land, we take that seriously. We analyse it, reflect on it and ask, “How can we do this better together?”
This cycle of listening, responding and improving has shaped so much of our progress in recent years. We've refined modules, strengthened tutor-group structures, expanded resources, updated case materials and shifted elements of delivery to support diverse learning needs. We've embraced new evidence, emerging neuroscience, neuro-affirming language and evolving service expectations. And we'll continue to do so because our field doesn't stand still, and neither should we.
If you are part of this community, whether through the ASI Wise Certificate, workshops, webinars or sensory ladders, you are part of this ongoing movement of learning and improvement. Your curiosity, your commitment, and your courage to ask questions help shape what comes next.
We remain committed to delivering education that feels alive, supportive and anchored in real practice. Education that honours fidelity but welcomes evolution. Education that is grounded in quality, strengthened by collaboration and sustained through continuous improvement.
As we look ahead, we hope you'll continue to walk with us, sharing your insights, challenges, hopes, and ideas. Together, we are building not just training programmes, but a thriving, reflective community dedicated to raising the standard of sensory integration practice across the UK, Ireland, and beyond.
If you'd like to share feedback, talk about your learning, or help shape what comes next, our door is always open.
