The Alerta MoveAssist is a transfer assistance device designed to facilitate safe, efficient transfers with minimal caregiver assistance, while encouraging active user engagement and promoting functional mobility.

The Alerta MoveAssist features a crossbar that enables the user to grip and pull themselves into a standing position, utilising their own strength and mobility. The padded split seats swing outwards to allow the user to stand and position themselves within the MoveAssist. Once correctly positioned, the caregiver returns the split seats to their closed position, providing a secure and comfortable seated platform for the remainder of the transfer.

For additional support and security, the Alerta MoveAssist incorporates sling attachment hooks and an OT-approved kneepad to assist with positioning and stability during transfers.

With a maximum user weight capacity of 200kg, the Alerta MoveAssist provides a practical transfer solution for a range of care environments, supporting both user independence and caregiver-assisted mobility, ensuring everyone in care is kept comfortable, safe and secure when protected by Alerta.
