Based on the Isle of Man, accessible daily living solutions supplier DLP earned a platinum medal, a feat reserved for the top 1% of companies assessed, with a huge 17-point improvement on their previous overall score.

Worcestershire-based AKW received a gold medal, placing them in the top 5% of companies assessed, and top 2% of businesses in their industry, with a 14-point increase on their 2024 score.

International corporate sustainability assessors EcoVadis analyse the performance of over 130,000 companies in more than 180 countries and 220 industries every single year, evaluating submissions across four key areas: environmental impact, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

Both DLP and AKW were previously rated in 2023 and 2024, for which they achieved silver medals, with DLP successfully managing to increase their initial score by ten points within twelve months.

The results of this year’s assessment follow the publication of the first AKW and DLP Sustainability Report earlier in 2025, as well as the implementation of further improvements in policy, protocol and reporting across the businesses.
