Case management
While the skill sets of occupational therapists are exceptionally well-suited to case management, there is a clear distinction between the two roles in clinical practice.
Drawing on case studies of working with clients following catastrophic life-long injuries, this session explores professional boundaries and the specific functions of each role. We will examine how OTs and case managers work together collaboratively—leveraging their unique skills and experience—to optimise client outcomes through integrated rehabilitation, communication and planning.
