OT in a digital world: AI and technology on the front line
This 30‑minute session will explore how AI and technology enabled care (TEC) can be meaningfully integrated into occupational therapy practice.
Drawing on frontline experience, Chloe will share how AI tools can support documentation and reasoning, and how both specialist TEC and everyday technologies (such as smartphones and mainstream apps) can be used to support people to achieve their own outcomes.
This matters because OTs are increasingly expected to work in digitally enabled services while maintaining person‑centred, occupation‑focused practice under significant time and resource pressures.
Attendees will gain practical examples, honest reflections on what has and has not worked, and simple, realistic ideas they can take back to their own practice regardless of their current level of confidence with technology.
