This is a ‘must attend’ session for all occupational therapists involved in the Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG). At the presentation you will be introduced to the new Assessment Framework from the DFG guidance that helps assessors to have a better understanding of what adaptations are necessary and appropriate. You will also be introduced to the research behind the framework and look at how the nine factors can help reduce the risk of installing inappropriate adaptations.
