Working within a prison setting can be challenging in many ways. Add in a global pandemic and occupational therapy provision can appear impossible. Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist, Charlotte French will discuss her own experiences of delivering occupational therapy within this climate, by thinking outside the “cell” to support individuals to achieve their occupational goals. Theory practice links will be explored in relation to activity analysis and use of creative alternatives to develop occupational participation and performance skills within the context of a mental health prison wing
