This presentation will focus on the development of the first MSc apprenticeship in occupational therapy which was approved in 2021 to run at Coventry University. It will consider the changing face of education for our profession, celebrating the opportunities available to increase access and therefore potential growth of occupational therapy but also the challenges for those involved in this new development. The presentation will consider the opportunities and challenges from the perspective of educators, mentors and apprentices and will aim to reflect upon what this means for occupational therapy practice moving forward.
