Human Trafficking and modern-day slavery are complex, harmful and largely hidden crimes, with human trafficking being the second fasted growing enterprise in the world.

 

Human trafficking is a violation of an individual's human rights and social and political issue of occupational injustice, with a significant negative impact on health, wellbeing and prolonged instability. 

 

Occupational Therapy is not established in this sector and is an emerging role.
