There has always been stigma around substance use and alcoholism, how can we as OT’s work towards a society free of this stigma? In the session we will talk about barriers people in addiction recovery face, and how occupational therapy can be used to minimise those barriers and look at ways to make health and social care more accessible for the people in addiction and addiction recovery.
