Following groundbreaking research [1] by the University of Salford into the stability of walking frame users, NRS Healthcare partnered with UoS to develop a safer front wheeled walking frame. We will explain how we measured user stability in gait laboratory and care homes, and how we used this to develop a much more stable walking frame [2]. We will explain its novel features and how these benefit the user in terms of safety and usability.
