Ruben has almost 20 years of lived experience as a Disabled Person and has become one of the leading experts in Disability Equality/Equity. He has helped create and delivered training packages around Disability Equality to large companies such as; UBER, C2C Rail, and Transport for London, educating their staff on the Social Model of Disability, current legislation, the right way to assist disabled patrons and the correct language using the Social Model approach. He is now working in partnership with Enfield Council to navigate co-production and the rewards and challenges it brings.
